Free Fall

Power unquenchable reaches far through a void as sight glows into life in the darkness,
With differences to devour, what it derives forever, if given enough heart to behold,

There still remains the peace of fate, a tease of fulfillment to false criterion ascribed,

The measure of its mistake in contrast to momentum gained, simplifies meaning in life,
To exist beyond the reach of call or reason to persist in a state or two, leaves belief blind,
My endless gaze returns focus to renew in pastures grazed wherein leisure was yet perfect,

Eyes shut down, and the knowledge runs out of room to reassert itself over safe havens,

In the shadows cast, the mind finds even dispersion of effort impossible without ends to meet,

The sacred vow, a prisoner’s sorrow, the foot in a grave, and an experience for all tomorrow’s.
